This challenge entailed swimming a total of 22 miles in my local leisure centre (35.4km) over a period of 12 weeks, to finish by 1st December 2014. My intention was to raise £400 to support Aspire in its quest to provide much-needed help to those individuals who have suffered a spinal cord injury.

Think of all the things you do, the things you do by yourself and all the things you take for granted. What if, one day, something happened and you were unable to do them? Who would you turn to for support?
That's Why What Aspire Do Is So Important!

The Final Countdown
One of my friends decided to re-christen me "Swimmy Sally" as a result of my taking part in this event. If you'd like to sponsor "Swimmy Sally" (and I'd LOVE it if you did), then you can do so by clicking on the button below to visit my JustGiving page. Or, if you prefer and you're in the UK, you can text "ASPC92 £1" (or any other amount that you wish to donate) to 70070.
See you at the finish line!
